Gionee M2 and Micromax Canvas Power are the two phones which are yet to join the Indian android market with their huge battery backup. The USP of both of these phones are their battery life. It is not the first time when any company is trying to cash the battery capacity. Previously Micromax released Canvas Juice which boasts the battery capacity of 3000mAh.

Gionee M2 Vs Micromax Canvas Power A96 Specs Comparison
We are here comparing the two phones which clearly are king in terms of their battery size. It’s not just battery capacity which is sufficient enough to catch the attention of the customer. An android phone can be enticing only if it is best at all the specifications whether it is on software front or on hardware front.
Display:
Display is the very first thing which grabs the attention of the customer. Good looks and design will make the device popular among the users. Remember Micromax Bling which was just known for its look at that time.
Anyways talking about the display here what we getting is Micromax Canvas Power features 12.7 cm(5” inches) multi touch capacitive touch screen. While Gionee M2 sports 5” inches FWVGA capacitive touch screen having screen resolution of 480X854 pixels.
Winner: Both are having 5” inches display but we are still not yet confirmed about the screen resolution of MMX canvas Power and therefore for now it is a draw between both of them.
Operating System and Processor:
Canvas Power is having operating system which operates on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and runs on the 1.3GHz quad core processor.
Just like Micromax Power, Gionee M2 operates on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with 1.3 GHz quad core processor.
Winner: Both are having similar operating system and processor and hence there is again a draw between the both.
Camera:
MMX Power sports 5MP rear camera with LED flash and front VGA camera while on the other hand Gionee M2 bears 8MP camera at the rear with LED flash and 2MP camera at the front.
Winner: If Megapixels are to be compared then Gionee M2 takes the lead here. let the phones be launched first and then compare the images clicked by both these phones and chose the best.
Battery:
Micromax Canvas Power houses 4000mAh battery capacity which provides the talk time of 13.5 hours and standby time of 400 hours. On the other hand Gionee M2 bears 4200mAh battery at the rear end which is capable enough of providing the talk time of 24 hours and standby time of 555 hours.
Winner: Gionee M2 evolves as the winner here with better battery life.
Memory:
Micromax Power A96 and Gionee M2 both holds 512MB of internal RAM with 4GB of internal ROM and memory expandable up to 2GB.

Connectivity and sensors:
Both A96 Canvas Power and Gionee M2 is having Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G and GPS support with 3.5mm of jack and FM radio.

Micromax A96 Canvas Power & Gionee M2 Price Difference:
The Gionee M2 is priced at 10,800 and the price of canvas power is 9900. Around Rs. 900 difference between the two.
Although Gionee M2 may be providing a few better specs but it not only specifications which let customer decide whether to buy that android phone or not. Availability of customer care centers and the foremost thing quality also matters the most. And Micromax has successfully delivered some of the best android gadgets which is now ruling the Indian android markets like Canvas series or Bolt series. So if my suggestion is to be considered I will go for Micromax Canvas Power A96 which assures about the quality.
